I don't understand this. Today I was charged a listing fee for a
listing. $2.10 and I was so quick to hit 'list' as I usually do, that it
didn't register on me until I hit the button. I have a store with 1000
free listings. I have listed one other it...
I'm a fairly new seller and up until today, everything has been going
well. It's definitely a learning curve to get it all right, but I'm okay
with that. What happened today is I got a message from Ebay saying one
of my sales was reported as not deli...
So I just spoke to Customer Service, who said the fee was added because
I used the Subtitle option. So, DON'T ADD A SUBTITLE unless you want to
pay a fee. Ugh, you live and learn.
That's why. As soon as you print the shipping label, they mark it as
shipped. It's stupid really. We should be able to print the labels to
prepare for shipping within the window of time we list, then mark it
shipped after actually shipping.

Exactly. I ended up sending her a follow up message, putting the
tracking number into the message, mentioning that it was delivered, and
then suggested she ask her housemates (it appears to be a house with
multiple units) if anyone else picked it up....
Thanks, I'll give this a go and see what happens. I didn't think I'd
need to add the tracking number into the note I sent because I figured
eBay would have access to that, but I agree that I don't want to trust
that they'll actually look at that.
