I was taken to the resolution centre by seller and asked to cancel a purchase & responded that I did not wish to cancel
The transaction and it responded that I had agreed to cancel and the case was closed, I really wanted that Pennie. What do I do now?

Your post is going to be edited, because we can't "name and shame" members here.
Contact the seller and ask what the problem is. A seller can refuse any bid, but requires buyer agreement to cancel a sale.
And check your transaction again. There may have been a momentary glitch that has corrected itself.
Mind you, if the seller wants out of the transaction, all he really has to do is to not ship and take whatever penalties eBay gives out.
