Any experiences with sellers from China

I am sure that i am not the only one to have had issues with chinese sellers but wanted to get others feed back on if this is a reliable way to get some of these items. I have been stung recently and ebay doesnt seem to want to help.

Unless you do not mind cheap, inferior, counterfeit products, never buy from China. Ebay has been catering to the Chinese sellers for many years and I seriously doubt they will change anytime soon.

Non payers should get unpaid item strikes and be added to block bidders lists. Period.

Any experiences with sellers from China

Hello.  I do believe that everyone that has ever shopped on eBay has tried their hand  at buying from China.  Those prices are hard to ignore.  I have had some good experiences and some bad.  I find that the main problem is items being shipped from China take forever to get here and quite often take longer to be delivered than the time that eBay allows (45 days)  This causes many problems for buyers who then have to deal with the sellers in trying to get a refund.  I have pretty well given up on purchasing from China because of this.  Keep in mind that not all transactions with China are bad.  Just be mindful of the products you are purchasing, be patient waiting for delivery,  give yourself a week or so before your 45 days shipping is up to contact the seller and always ask for a refund and nothing else.  Also, file a item not received claim before your 45 days are up because after that eBay won't help.  I made the mistake of buying a violin from a seller in China and I received it in good time but it was destroyed.  I had to return it obviously but just about had a heart attack when it cost me $115.00 to send it back.  I lost money on that transaction.  You don't want to have to return items to China because shipping is ridiculous!  Good luck!

You have 45 days to file a Dispute with eBay/Paypal.

You have 60 days to leave Feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings.

You can leave a Response to any Feedback indefinitely.

You can forget the eBay/PP Buyer Protection Program after the 45 day deadline. Instead go to the credit card you really paid with (PP is just a mediator), phone the 1-800 number and ask about a chargeback.

Cards also have deadlines, but they tend to be longer- upwards of 90 or even 120 days depending on the card and the level.
