Anyone else having issues about getting eBay notifications?

Yesterday I sold an item & never received an email from eBay saying I had a sold item. Got my payment notification from Paypal.
Last night I listed some items - no email confirmations. Same with items which ended. I have not changed any preferences & email address is still correct. Phoned eBay this am after listing some items & still no confirmation. Sometimes their help desk people really don't seem to have a clue. She said she'd put a tech on it after first telling me that as I had been on eBay for 10 years they might not send me notices now! Anyone else having or have had similar problems?

I received a message from a buyer about 6 hours after it was sent. It was the second of 2 messages and the second one I had received immediately which made for some confusion indeed. the time stamp on the message was correct but it showed up in my email and in my site mails roughly 6 hours later than it should have.

This happens to me periodically. My assumption is that it is nothing more than an ebay glitch. I would not worry overmuch as the ones from paypal are very reliable. As in I have never NOT gotten timely notification from paypal that payment for an item has arrived. I would, however, encourage you to double-check with your ebay Sold items before sending anything out. Just in case.
