Given that eBay seems to be increasing their "free listing" promos and the same unsellable junk constantly gets relisted every promo, would it be possible to have a function added so that certain sellers can be blocked from appearing in your search results? Or could some common sense be used with these promos? How about limiting the number of items a seller can list each month, like maybe 500, not 25000? It gets tiresome seeing the same junk listed repeatedly (often during the same promo). All it does it create a lot of background noise that swamps any potentially interesting items that someone might list. Without some controls people are just going to list anything and everything. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and and over again. Do I need to go on or do you get my point?

Any updated on the negative "adjustment" we see?
I see it as a buyer when I am refunded by the seller or if I win a case. In one instance, the seller refunded me, but it does not show negative adjustment?

I've noticed the same thing this week - I refunded shipping (partial), but it didn't display on the sold items list.

Hi bozonet,
Without a real life example, it's hard to comment on the pollution you say you encounter in your search results, but know that you can use keyword search creatively to control what results set you are presented with. I'll give you an example of my own. I'm into vintage electronics and one of the things I like to search for are Rotel components. Often times, when I search for something specific like "Rotel integrated amplifier" I get results littered with technical manuals, printed ads, replacement parts or remote controls. I then change my search query for "Rotel integrated amplifier -manual -ad -replacement" and the new set of results is free of most of the listings I don't want to see. When you put a keyword with a minus sign before it, the search results will; omit any listings with that word in the title.
This is a better approach than restricting how much sellers can list of anything, which would be counter productive against the very intent of such promos.

Hi 2noggins,
Can you email me with the details so I can take a look? Seller's ID, item numbers, refunds received for each, etc.
You can reach me at raphael@ebay.com
Thanks!
