Many of the regular contributors here know my mixed feelings on Best Offer listings.
While I was doing research on an item I am getting ready to list, I came across this from another seller. This feedback.
Should it not be eligible for feedback removal?
What the buyer deems to be a 'reasonable bid' should be irrelevant if they then decided to purchase it at the asking price given that they blew their three chances making offers that were refused for being too low.
Am I missing something?

The seller has to ask to have the feedback removed.
And I see that the feedback directly above has "Best Offer was Accepted"
So as a buyer it wouldn't stop me from buying at all -- I'd just class buyer h***m as an idiot.

As a seller I do use best offer for some listings and have never had that problem. Either we work out a deal or the buyer goes away or ... someone else snaps it up first. I like the last outcome best.

We don't know enough about the circumstances to make an honest and accurate assessment of the situation. I don't like to assume every buyer is a low baller if I don't know their offers. There are just as many sellers who will list an item at $69 but won't take less than $65. Some won't take less than $69. Without knowing the seller's portion of the exchange I don't think it is fair to make negative generalizations about what happened. Just MHO.

That is exactly why I don't use best offer. On one item listed for $275, I got an offer of $35, with a sob story. Of course I had set it up as an automatic rejected offer. He emailed me and felt that $35 was a fair offer and was quite upset that I wasn't accepting it. On another item, I had listed for $15 with free shipping and he wanted it for $7.00 with free shipping. Give me a break. It would cost me more money to ship it to him than I would receive from him.

It is very difficult today to get any feedback removed today for 2 reasons:
Ebay considers it an opinion and buyers are entitled to their opinions
Ebay, since removing the defect for neuts and negs, sees no reason to remove any seller feedback any longer.

I agree, although I would have called to ask for its removal first.
As much as it seems a no-brainer to me that it should not stand for the same reason a buyer cannot leave a Negative feedback that says 'used' on an item that was clearly listed as Used, it's difficult to predict what kind of response one would get from the so-called Feedback Specialists at the Customer Service Call Centre; they guard those defects and bad feedbacks like their lives depend on them.

Almost makes you wonder if they get a pay deduction for removing too many bad feedback / defects
