Bought items hidden before receiving date has been reached

Hi,

Anyone else having issues keping track of purchased items?

mine disapear before the receiving due date is even reached, most of the time they put 2-3 months to receive the item and I have to search all the time so I can see what I have recieved and what I never received, and forget about the ebay itunes app, with that you can't even track your items you are still waiting for.

I feel like ebay is on the side of the sellers instead of the buyers, they make it hard for us to track our purchases that we paid for and don't receive sometimes.  The items should remain visible until it is no longer possible to request a refund, which is 1 month after the due to receive date of the item.  This also need to be made available on the itunes app.

very frustrated at trying to keep track of my purchases and I even wait until the last minute to request a refund as to give the seller every chance possible for the item to show up in my mailbox Woman Sad

STOP buying from Sellers in China.

You should be able to receive all items purchased from any Domestic and International Seller within the 2 month period.

Your shopping habits are not eBay's fault. Learn to protect yourself.

If your waiting longer then  2 months for your item(s) then avoid those sellers.

You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to open a "item not received" dispute with eBay.

You also have 180 days (6 months) from the date of payment to open a "item not received" dispute with PayPal.

Focus on Sellers in Canada, USA U.K, and Europe.

Avoid the rest and you will have a more positive buying experience moving forward.

forget about the ebay itunes app, with that you can't even track your items you are still waiting for.

Put the expected date for arrival on your calendar.

Don't expect anyone else (or anything else ) to do your work for you.

The items should remain visible until it is no longer possible to request a refund,

I tend to agree with you, but this is actually true of Paypal.

All your payments sent remain almost indefinitely. (My account shows purchases made around 2006)

You have up to 180 days from PAYMENT to open a Dispute.

The PP Resolution Centre is at the top of your PP account page under Tools.

Before you agree to pay, and before you actually pay, look at the delivery period.

In over 30 years in Mail Order, it has been my experience that it takes about 20 days for delivery from North America and 30 for delivery from Asia.

@blacklab515

I totally agree with you.

And NO I will not stop buying from wherever I want including China / Hong kong.  My buying habits are my own business and eBay SHOULD leave the item in view until you can not file a claim for item not received.  They should also allow 90 days to leave feedback as this is about the time that it takes to file a claim.

Also, the estimated dates should NOT disappear until you are allowed to file a claim so that you can easily track until when you have to do it.

This is called CLIENT SERVICES.  I should not have to rely on a separate app or calendar to track my eBay items.

I am totally with you on this one.
