So this has happened on occasion before but now its every time. So frustrating.
When creating a new listing, I select sell similar and when I get down to the item description (which I usually change measurements, size, condition but leave many words the same) I see code. I can change what needs to be changed by sifting through the code and finding the key words but it's sketchy! Used to be that the font could be changed at the top but now that option is gone. Funny thing is that on my listing on ebay.com I can see it without code no problem and change font and size etc.
Anyone ever see this before? Do you know how to fix it?
TIA - Caron

When you go down to the description, there should be two tabs at the top of the description box called Standard and HTML. If you see code, then you are in the HTML tab so just click on the Standard tab to go back to the normal edit view.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer browser 10 or 11, you may have another issue caused by a browser update automatically installed by Windows.
Try switching to compatibility mode in Internet Explorer.
See this topic on eBay.com about the same issue.
Read here how to set compatibility mode for Internet Explorer 11. It is similar to other versions of Internet Explorer.

I always see the HTML formal when I relist or sell similar. It never used to be like that but for me that changed a while ago. As Poco mentioned, click on the standard tab to get it out of HTML.
