Did eBay change the notification email subject?

I have a filters set up and suddenly all sales have subject:

Your eBay item sold! ...

First I thought I sold nothing from the store, but then I looked in MyEbay and it's both auctions and store items, which used to be just yesterday:

I don't understand what you're asking but ebay HAS changed the winning buyer's email. -------------------------------------------------------------------

surplusdealdude, I asked if eBay changed the notification email. on Sunday it was possible to distinguish between auction and store item by first 4 subject words.

Oh - I never paid that close attention to it.

Pierre was talking about some change in the winning emails in another thread ( either on CTS or the Selling board).

Since they changed the email sent to the winning buyer, they likely changed it going to the seller, too. -------------------------------------------------------------------

They all seem to be prefaced with "Your eBay item sold!"

More annoying is the following that is included in the mails:

End time: 14-May-09 09:50:40 EDT
Sale price: US $7.95
Quantity: 17
Quantity sold: 10
Quantity remaining: 7

We are getting lots of these. The buyer only bought one! Got pretty excited the first day when all our buyers were purchasing large quantities, until we found out that sold quantities were "1" 🙂

I had my filters working pretty well last two months, now I have to redo them again.

It may be little difficult since the subject is now exactly the same, although recently I started using "!" at the end of title of my free shipping items and all my auctions have f.s., so let's see if I can setup a new filter.

I wonder if eBay management ever heard of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" ...

And it seems they changed it back. My last store item that came into "Your eBay item sold" was at noon today, then they started coming to the original email folder with "Your Store Inventory Sold" subject.
