Hey Gang,
I started selling some stuff on ebay again, but it's taking me a lot to get the shipping values and methods right for U.S... would someone kindly break down the size, weight and shipping values to be entered for different values? i.e. expedited, tracked packet, small packet etc etc
thank you kindly

If listing on eBay.CA you can use calculated shipping and let eBay do the figuring -- but you need to know the approximate weight and size of the package (metric is most accurate) when creating the listing.
-..-
If under 2cm thick you can use lettermail/Light Packet (no tracking or insurance).
Small packet has an internal trace number, no insurance, can be thicker than 2cm.
Tracked packet has tracking and $100 insurance.
USA - Lettermail (stamp rate) / Light Packet / Small Packet / Tracked Packet (2016)
000-030g .. 1.20 Lettermail
031-050g .. 1.80 Lettermail
051-100g .. 2.95 Lettermail
101-200g .. 5.15 Lettermail
000-200g .. 5.70 Light Packet
201-300g .. 8.23 Light Packet
000-250g .. 8.36 Small Packet (Air)
201-500g .. 10.30 Lettermail
251-500g .. 11.07 Small Packet (Air)
301-500g .. 11.75 Light Packet
251-500g .. 15.75 Tracked Packet
501g-1kg .. 16.65 Small Packet (Air)
501g-1kg .. 18.19 Tracked Packet
Other parcel services are variable cost depending on distance travelled.
-..-
Canada Post shipping labels purchased through Paypal have shipping discounts for tracked parcel services (with expedited getting the biggest discount).
