Have most Sellers converted to Buy Now or are there still Bidding possibilities?

Have most Sellers converted to Buy Now or are there still Bidding possibilities?

Over the years most sellers have switched their method of listing on eBay to fixed price (Buy-it-Now).

eBay still offers auction listings.

However, the online market has determined that most buyers prefer the ability to make an immediate purchase instead of waiting several days to find out if their bid was a winning one.

Hello 'kiwi0010',

<<Have most Sellers converted to Buy Now or are there still Bidding possibilities?>>

Loads of bidding possibilities!    When looking for an item, enter your terms in the Search bar.

Then (Searching is always a 2-step process, at least)  from the left side of the page try, say, North America

from the Item Location offerings.

Just above the selections you see will be a choice bar with  All Listings, Auction, or Buy It Now.

You will want to click on Auction.

From the Sort bar  you might want to choose Time: ending soonest.  (or whatever).

There you have the auctions.

That said, a lot of shoppers prefer 'buy it now' because the prices are honest.  Too many shillers and ebay does nothing

about it, but with fixed price listing the buyer gets the item at a price he can afford and the seller simply puts up a listing

and when someone buys it, she packs and mails it.  Super easy and everybody's happy.

The fixed-price buyer may have his item in his hand before the auction bidder even knows if he has a chance.

Still, auctions can be a ton of fun, so I can't blame you for wanting more. Smiley Very Happy
