We are pleased to share that Canada Post is resuming operations. Canada Post services will be available on eBay Labels with their eBay-negotiated discounts on Tuesday, December 17th.
However, Canada Post parcels are expected to experience significantly delayed delivery times as they work through a significant backlog. We will adjust seller protections and estimated delivery dates once the scale of this backlog is better-known.
In the meantime, sellers are reminded of the following:
- Add your tracking number to your orders to ensure a positive buyer experience and prevent disputes with customers.
- Continue to offer alternative shipping options to give buyers additional flexibility and choice to your buyers.
- Update your listings to reflect your new shipping options so that the longer-than-normal estimated delivery dates for Canada Post shipping do not negatively impact your likelihood of making a sale.
