As the Canadian Union of Post Workers (CUPW) strike enters its second week, some sellers have expressed concern over the potential impact on their seller performance. If you are impacted by this strike, eBay is taking actions to automatically protect your account from defects, including:

  • Late Shipment Rate (LSR) defects
  • Valid tracking upload rate
  • Negative or Neutral Feedback if you uploaded tracking before the case was opened and have a physical scan from the carrier
  • Seller initiated cancellations

eBay is also actively updating estimated delivery dates for Canadian buyers and encouraging patience as the situation unfolds. If you have a parcel that has been caught in transit, we suggest reaching out proactively to your buyer to explain the situation.

We will update our community as needed, and you can continue to monitor the details on the Canada Post website.

As always, thank you for selling on eBay.
