It will be interesting to see what sort of response I get, if any, from Trust & Safety.
And as an afterthought should Trust and Safety be amongst some of things that really should be renamed, ie Mistrust and Insecurity for Sellers, in the US Homeland Insecurity & Paranoia, etc

I agree. However, T&S is staffed by folks who don't want to make waves if they can help it. Put in their 35 hours a week, collect a paycheque and go home!
Last week, T&S ended over 200 of my store listings priced under $1. They did the same to thousands of sellers. We all know the rules; eBay had indicated last Spring that GST store listings would not be relisted by eBay when they came for renewal from May onwards. However, they kept automatically relisting and collecting fees.
While I can understand eBay ending all under $1 listings (they received complaints from sellers who had ended their listings early last Spring), they forgot to follow their official policy and make those ended listing available in the "unsold listings" page. Ooooops!
Getting absolutely nowhere with them or senior management to correct their mistake. .

We purchased FOUR paper certificates. (US$150+ each)
The seller listed US$7.50 for delivery by REGISTERED MAIL.
That's not a problem- and not excessive- REGISTERED Mail is expensive.
Here's the problem- the seller WOULD NOT COMBINE SHIPPING for FOUR certificates- and wanted US$30 to send FOUR pieces of paper in ONE envelope! (less than 50g total weight for shipping)
eBay would do nothing. Excessive shipping cost- NO (according to eBay)- and "the problem is between you and the seller".
So- I wanted the items, and the seller still wanted the US$30 even if picked up! I PAID the US$30 for shipping, and did receive ONE REGISTERED letter.
(I did pay for EACH AUCTION SEPARATELY though- and as such, I would have expected FOUR SEPARATE envelopes. I could have directed these to FOUR separate addresses, out of spite- and would have been 100% within my rights, as a buyer, to do so. FOUR separate auctions- four separate contracts!)
There are limits- even when shipping is clearly stated. and US$30 for one REGISTERED letter, sent from TORONTO, to TORONTO, crosses that line.
In this situation would anyone even consider leaving glowing POSITIVE feedback?

I haven't had a neg but I've had a problem with a buyer from Greece too. He wanted fast, tracked shipping. From the US that means Express Mail. I paid $30.50 and charged him $32.
He dinged me hard on my DSR's and thought he could do it twice. He bought two items at the same time and they were shipped together. He gave me feedback in July and then in August probably thinking he could ding me twice. Thankfully the purchases were made together so they only counted once.

Just a thought- a long shot- but why not use the POWER SELLER portal, and write a detailed complaint, regarding the purchase, shipment, and the length of time between feedbacks.
While it may get you nowhere- you may get lucky.

Now if they could just stop fooling around with Eastern Ontario stamp dealers.
