HTML tags in reviews/guide

When trying to save a review (on the about me page), I continually get a message that I have included invalid HTML tags.

I don't have any tags included. I am fairly HTML savvy but this on has me stumped!

Any help?

Hi Xena... are you using either quotation marks or asterisks in the text body? They are considered HTML.

Bill,

I removed the 2 quotation marks I had in there but the results are the same.

I am copy and pasting from MS Word 2007, however...

Hmmm... without seeing it I can't comment further. I'm sure when Monique rolls by see will have some additional thoughts for you. All I can really add right now is that you need to keep it to text only (no links etc.).

If you want to send me the text I can see why it isn't taking.

Monique,

Thanks so much!

I really, really appreciate that you took the time despite your, undoubtedly, busy schedule to help me out with this.

I owe ya - big time!!!

No problem. 🙂

I'm stuck on this computer tonight following closed road reports as DH tries desperately to make it from London to Goderich before they close all the roads.

They just closed 4 ahead of him at Exetor so no he's heading across to 21 in hopes it is still open.

Say a little prayer, will ya?

LOL!

We just came off minus 30 and lots of snow, so I know the feeling. Except here, everyone drives a hunkin' SUV or pickup and it's the visiting Vancouverites that bicker:^O

Good luck and think positive - it will all work out, methinks!
