Tracking a parcel is not really useful to the buyer.
Tracking is used by sellers to prove delivery when a scamming buyer claims non-delivery.
The tracking is usually actually Confirmation of Delivery, which means the delivery is recorded after the buyer receives it.
The seller must ship within 7 days of cleared payment to retain her Seller Protection.
If the item has not been delivered within 45 days, the buyer can open an Item Not Received Dispute and get a full refund.
In my experience, the buyer should allow 10 to 15 days for delivery from Europe.
From North America, 15 to 20 days.
From Asia, 20 to 30 days.
If your parcel has not arrived by then, go to the Resolution Centre and open an Item Not Received dispute. If the seller does not prove delivery or refund you promptly, Paypal will refund you and then go after her for their money.
If your purchase is time-sensitive, it is best not to depend on mail order, especially if you are ordering from outside Canada.

Have you tried contacting the seller? Ebay really isn't doing much to aleiviate fear mongering here, all about disputing this and claiming that. Is the seller reputable? Is this an item coming from china or canada, us etc. I know on my listings ebay will show that confirmation number...my receipt for buying the stamp, to the buyer and call it tracking when in fact most items I send have no tracking. If you trusted the sellers scene enough to make the purchase, it is not always cool to go all American on them and start a war over it. Most times if not all times, I have no idea the status of a parcel until I get feedback or a question on it. Unless a seller has wronged you, writing them using having a question about your item will save them getting a strike. If you have contacted the seller and they are not helping at all, then scratch all that and attack but that happens so infrequently now because ebay itself is set to attack as well and sellers are run on a tight line. If it is an established seller, I doubt you have anything to worry about. Worrying and getting mad is a lot flashier way to wait, but it is a lot cooler to just kind of let it all happen and then react. Over reacting too early just creates a bad selling and buying environment. Just MHO.

Where is the seller?
US sellers often use the Global Shipping Program which has a double track for confirmation of delivery. First to the GSP plant in Kentucky which shows quickly and then a much slower to upload number from KY to Canada.
