How do I prevent e mails coming to my in box that are meant for someone else?

When I changed my e mail address about 2 years ago, I immediately started receiving emails that were meant for someone else regarding a small account credit.  By fluke, I recently managed to contact this individual who, by coincidence must have just changed email addresses when I set up my new one.  He is no longer able to access his old account so cannot resolve the issue.  Is there any way to contact eBay to have this clear this up?

Hi janet7717.. that's bizarre and can't think of a scenario that would allow it to happen. I'm not sure that eBay can resolve but you would have to use Customer Support.. contact eBay and call.
