How do I report ebay.

Sold item and buyer and said wasn't received.Contacted Canada Post who did an investigation because I had tracking, tracking said it was delivered and received. The day the investigation started the package arrived. Now buyer says was broken and wanted refund. As shaddy as this sounded ebay gave a complete refund to buyer.Package was insured so contacted Canada Post and they said buyer just had to fill out a form stating it was broken and he refused but kept the money and kept the item.So now I have to charge the buyer with theft and ebay said nothing they can do

Report the buyer to ebay, file a complaint with the police (have all your documentation ready) and then call Paypal with your police incident number report. Good luck.

Also, there must be a step missing from your description of the problem, like number of days lapsed. Ebay doesn't override the seller and provide refunds without warning.

I got similar problems  I am in Canada and send the poster to Texas and the buyer claimed he never received it even the tracking information showed it has been delivered.  I contacted Canada Post to file a lost item and guess what Canada Post contacted USPS and  USPS claimed they did delivered it to the buyer.  The buyer still claimed he never received it!  Canada Post closed it regardless of what!   So we both are out of item and cannot claim for the lost item.  That is how Canada Post and USPS operate!

If tracking shows the item is delivered, your responsibility for it ends. The buyer must contact local police about theft.

eBay cannot issue a refund to the buyer without giving you the option to respond.  In a case that the item arrived broken, you need to request that the buyer return the broken item or at least send you pictures as evidence.  If eBay gave the buyer the refund without giving you the option to get the item returned, you should file an appeal with eBay and I'm sure if it was their mistake, they will refund you the money since its too late for them to get it back from the buyer.

In my case everything looked suspicious but eBay still refunded the money.so eBay can do as they want and **bleep** the seller

Re: How do I report ebay.

I know exactly how you feel when it comes to eBay customer service, I must say that out of every 10 calls I made in the past, maybe and I say maybe 1 was resolved to my satisfaction.  Every time I get off a call, I tell myself, this is the last time I call as it is a very frustrating experience.  In the recent months, I made some calls on the weekend, and found that the weekend staff were so much more understanding and really seem to want to help unlike the full time weekday ladies that seem to hate their job and definitely make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by calling or ever asking them any questions.

I suggest 2 things to try:

First, call on the weekend and hopefully you get one of the younger guys that seem to like their job and really want to help.  Explain your dilemma to them and see what they can do for you, they might simply reimburse you for your loss because they have the authority to do so, or they can help you appeal eBay's decision.

The second option:  Contact the buyer and let them know about your intention if they didn't co-operate.  Tell them that if the product they got refunded for was indeed broken on arrival, they have to assist you in filing a claim with Canada post or return the package to you as evidence, and if they are not wiling to help, you would contact the local police.
