How do i get rid of something that I did not want to buy

I hit the buy button but I was not trying to hit it. Now it is tilling me that I bought it and I need to pay for it. There is no way to delete it. How do I get rid of this item? I don't want it. I am new to this ebay thing. Help.

To commit to buy an item you would have had to "accidentally" hit 2 buttons on 2 separate pages in succession....

Only the seller can let you off the hook now.

Hello, I have been selling for 8 years and when I get a bid from a 0 feedback bidder - it seems that they do not realize that they legally are obligated to pay for the item and the shipping. If you do not pay -the seller will file an NON-PAYING Bidder claim (this is because EBAY charges the seller a percentage of the sale as well as the listing fees, and the only way to get this money back is to file). IF you get UNPAID strikes on your account - then you will no longer be allowed to use Ebay - you might be able to look - but you won't be allowed to bid.

I suggest you pay for the item, and learn a lesson from this.

Then BEFORE you do any more Ebaying, that you take the tutorials - and only bid on a low priced item - "get your feet wet" before you bid on a high priced item.
