How to alert eBay Buyers about one fraudulent seller?

I recently purchased this fake pandora bead for a seller, who claimed it to be authentic. I approached the seller and she said she must have been fooled by someone else. She wanted me to mail the bead back and would refund me later.

I have mailed it back, but she still did not refund.

I told her that I will post her info on eBay, so less people will fall into this trap. Apparently, she has a collection of pandora beads for sale. I can only imagine they are all pretended authentic ones.

Thanks,

Adele

How to alert eBay Buyers about one fraudulent seller?

You can still file an Item Not As Described claim with ebay if within 45 days of purchase. It lets you email the seller and you can explain in this email that beads have been returned to seller and you are now awaiting a refund. Hopefully you shipped them back in a way that you can confirm that seller has received them.

By opening a case like this seller has to respond. I don't know how much time you have given this though. Is it ample time for her to have receive item back. Or how long ago you purchase this item.

Either way I am not an expert here but if you think sufficient time has elapsed and seller not responding file the above claim.

Why am I not allowed to post seller's name on ebay? It will alert others for a better cause.

It was my first time purchasing pandora bead on ebay, and I didn't spot that it was fake right away. When I reported to paypal for refund, the seller wanted to me to return first. I did it accordingly, and she still refuses to refund.

It was not about money anymore. The seller is the worst I have ever dealt with. She has this attitude that she did nothing wrong. She told me first she was tricked by someone else, and I wanted me to send the item so she could go to her dealer. Now, she still has a line of beads, and I am guess they are all fake.

I have really explored my options because of this incident. I have sealed good deals on eBay, but I won't buy any more Pandora beads online. It just doesn't worth it.

I have encountered not just one fraudulent sellers but a few. The other ones have good attitude and admit they sold fake to me and refund promptly. I purchased one bead from this seller early March. I received the bead within a week, and I was very pleased with the shipping time. I left positive feedback right away.

Like I said, I was very naive and had no experience shopping Pandora online. I received another bead in a few days, and they are all different size from my store bought authentic glass beads. Then, I did some research. Not only the size, the core, stamp etc all indicate the beads I purchased from eBay were fake beads that sold as authentic Pandora. I received full refund from the other sellers.

It's risky to purchase supposedly pricy items with less of a price tag. Sadly, there's not much protection from ebay or paypal, when it comes to one against fakes.

Unlike you suggested, I did send back the bead but without tracking, and eventually escalated the case for paypal to review. Despite my multiple conversation with the seller that I checked so many times if she received the bead and asked her to refund me as promised (without any reply), paypal wanted me to send the bead back to seller 'again' and provide tracking number in order to claim the amount. They closed the case without making the seller refund me.

Yes paypal needs proof that you did ship the item back. At this point not much else you can do. If not too late, you can leave a negative saying that seller is selling fake beads and a low rating for Item As Described.

Paypal would have voted in your favor had you had proof of returning the item.  If something like this happens again, ask on here and somebody will be able to advise you on what to do if you are not sure. You have 45 days to make any kind of claim also good to remember.
