How to reset "Keep me signed in on this computer" ?

I use Firefox 21.0.  Apparently I must have allowed the "yes" to stay on when I signed on to eBay.ca recently.  I have tried the update using "general  site preferences" and sometimes it asks again for the password, but I still seem unable to sign off from eBay even though when I look at the settings under my account, site preferences  the box for "yes" is blank.  The location just at top left of screen where it displays "Hi, username" does NOT respond when I move the mouse over it.  ===

I do not want to leave the site open on my computer even though it is my home computer desktop .  For security I want to log off when I am not at computer.

Did you try the sign out in these new forums? It signs you out of these forums and your eBay account.

I know it does this because it is very annoying because I just want to sign out of the forums and get signed out on both. The old forums did not work this way before.

So for now try the forum sign out.

As for making the regular sign out work, I do not know. I am using FireFox 21.0.0 and do not have any issue with logging out on the regular eBay pages.
