Is this what eBay calls marketing Cdn sellers??

I saw this today, very interesting from many points of view.

Normally I pay no attention to eBay ads, but this one caught my interest because it was featuring "Canadian boutique sellers".  As it turns out, they are both B&M commercial retailers in downtown Toronto, not what I would call long-time eBay boutique sellers.

But what is more interesting to me, is the text.  Notice the emphasis on "hand-printed", one of a kind appeal.  Is eBay starting to worry about "Betsy"?  That site seems to be doing very well lately, and trust me, they are miles ahead of eBay in clarity, ease of use, and refreshingly logical simplicity of the site.

That was all Greek to me. Not sure about that free shipping in Canada. Someone has not done their costing to the remote regions. Could be a regional appeal.

Hard to say. It could be a trial balloon they are sending up to see what will happen. Online Christmas sales are growing by double digits every year. B&M sales are flat or up 1%. The dot com craze of the 90's wasn't wrong, just ahead of its time. The time is now.
