Again, I am not an employee of ebay and I don't play one on TV.
Since it's been more than six weeks since ebay Canada held its last Weekly Session as a result of our point person, Raphael's, departure to greener pastures, I, like the rest of you, have been waiting patiently for a successor to be appointed so that we can resume open two-way communication with ebay Canada in Toronto.
I miss the Weekly Sessions. I always appreciated the effort put into them, even if I wasn't always satisfied with the news I learned.
Therefore, I thought we might start a running list of issues we'd like to see addressed when a staff person is appointed to deal with us. Let's remember to keep it constructive, folks. Nothing below the belt.

The latest promo gives a message that it has expired and not that you are not invited. Strange message since how can it be expired if a seller was not eligible.

This also happened in an earlier promo saying expired when it should say not invited.
For the record I did not get an email or eBay message regarding the latest promo. I clicked on the link given in the topic above that went to the promo details and clicked on the Activate Offer link. Then I got the message expired.
I am curious why expired because over the years when not invited to a promo and clicking on the offer details that someone has posted, the Activate Offer would say I am not invited.
(Of course sometimes I did get invited and it activates but the eBay message inviting me always take 2 days into the offer to reach me so the member topics posting promos are very handy to get in as soon as a offer is made rather than waiting days to find out.)
Minor issue but curious why the change.

That issue is VERY important to all Canadian eBay sellers!

Are you talking about Promotions Manager?
I've been asking for it for ages. Last I heard, it's roll-out into ebay Canada was not on any immediate radar. Much to my disappointment.
