Yup, for a couple of days this week, a portion of the notifications were not received.
Fortunately, I go by the notice on my eBay "sold" page and then look for the payment notice in my mail client (to copy and paste address and verify amounts).
For the ones I cant find, I go to PP (annoying because PP times out after a few minutes).
Actually, I had some missing even as of yesterday. I called PayPal on the 15th because BY ACCIDENT I found a payment in my PayPal account from a buyer from the 8th that I had never received notification from. The buyer was very understanding with MY delay in sending her package as she is a seller herself and has also been missing numerous e-mail notifications from PayPal as well.
The tech at PayPal said that they were aware of the problem but were having a very difficult time fixing it because it was not a continuous problem, moreso hit and miss. There was no timeline for the problem to be resolved.
The tech went on to say that we should all check our PayPal account every day and NOT DEPEND on them to send notifications.
Yes, since Wednesday I haven't received a single notice email and I'm one of the ones who very rarely doesn't get them.

"The tech went on to say that we should all check our PayPal account every day and NOT DEPEND on them to send notifications. "
That quite frankly is a STUPID excuse by PayPal for not fixing a problem quickly. They have used the same line before. It is shameful coming from a multi-billion dollar operation.

Well, there is always MoneyBookers. Works fine for my Egyptian customers (PayPal does not) and supports direct bank trasfer in many coutries. Kind of high CC rate though.
Yes Pierre, I've missed two that I have caught this week and it's not the first time it's happened. I also had a buyer who was upset that I sent an invoice after she had paid me by ATM....hmmm...I don't accept ATM cards - I hope she meant she was transferring money from her bank to Paypal.
