hi, i am new to moneybookers.com, just registered an account yesterday. I heard that moneybookers payments are non-reversible, not like paypal....it sounds good to me as a seller. Have any one tried to withdraw money from moneybookers to local canadian banks? <-- Is there any fees for that? Any comments folks?

I wish there was more people using it, it's been trouble free for me and fairly quick for the transfers. I couldn't get them to verify my account properly but you can work around that by charging the fee to a CC.
I get the funds transfered to my account in the US to save on fees and I have had no problems and no need to worry about disputes, claims and chargebacks.

Thank you very much for this information. I have been seeking a Paypal alternative for some time now. Let's spread the word over and over. Perhaps if enough of us switch to a competitor, the heinous issues of chargebacks and lousy customer service from Paypal can be resolved.

If Paypal doesn't have this thread killed first that is.

Not to rain on anyones parade, but since money bookers are not listed as part of eBay's safe payment policy, you can risk having your listings pulled or loss of powerseller status if you advertise it in your listing.

I'm freaking out... I currently have over $400 "placed" by Paypal for disputes cases opened in the past 2 weeks.
Makes me really angry because I have shipped all 4 items in question. All 4 to foreign countries with Small Packets Airmail...
That eats up one heck of a chunk off my profits.

i have experienced this situation a year ago, after that i only ship using XpressPost to international countries. If they pay by western union money transfer, i will ship anywhere.

Moneybookers has been given the "seal of approval" by a number of pinks. I've indicated that I accept MB in my listings since January and have had no problems. DO NOT use the Moneybookers animated logo, the static one is fine.
I'm not certain that a Moneybookers payment cannot be reversed, at least ones made using a credit card but for sure they make a much greater effort to ensure that buyers are legit.
