Partially Eligble. (Let's not confuse it with "illegible" - unreadable - because of typo.) I noticed this yesterday too. Came on boards hoping to find info about it and other issue today.

Paypal protection showing partially elligible

I'm getting this as well through Paypal.

If I click on the highlighted part, it gives me this:

- Protection for items not received
When you ship to the address on this page and provide proof that the item was delivered and signed for, you're protected against claims for items not received. For complete requirements, see terms.
- Protection for unauthorized payments

So it means I should still be eligible for protection under those two things. Paypal decided to change their User Agreement again. Does anyone know where the section under Extended Seller Protection went to? (I can't seem to find it at all)

I finally started to get some of these as well.....if you click through you will see what esolutions mentions and other variations depending on the particular circumstances of the transaction.

As far as I can tell there are no changes to the protection but rather this goes a long way to clarifying for sellers exactly what coverage they have and the requirements that are needed to be covered.

Considering how poorly understood SPP has been in the past I see this as a tremendous improvement for those that are actually concerned.

Does anyone know where the section under Extended Seller Protection went to?

I'm not sure if the Extended coverage was ever specifically detailed in the User Agreement. For sure in the USA there is no longer any "extended" coverage as since October '08 ALL sellers get the same protection, the special plan for powersellers (exemption from confirmed address requirements) was eliminated as it has been extended to all US sellers.

hi sorry for long time it took me to answer , basically partially elligible means we are covered against not received claims ( if we can provide proof of shipment) but not against fraud ... in other words partially means not protected . paypal is sooo great !

Yes but at least now you know about it. In the past I'd venture that the majority of sellers had no idea what they were covered (or not) for.
