So I've had quite a few sellers contact me with something that is tagged as a "question" about a purchase but it's essentially spam. Something like:
(my name)
Thank you.
There is a big discount on this store
(url to their ebay store)
SAVE $5 WHEN YOU SPEND $10
Only a week.
No condition,No limit.
Go ahead and Good Luck!
And it also seems to be automatized ... because when I asked the seller not to send these again, I get the same message.
Are sellers allowed to do that?

Yes, eBay allows it.
But Canadian law does not.
I doubt that Chinese law forbids it though and that note was written by a native Chinese speaker , in my opinion.
Just delete them.
Some buyers will put such sellers on their Blocked Bidder List, to remind them not to buy from them again but I doubt this is useful.
Certainly, answering only encourages them.
