Power Seller Certificate?

Hi.

I've been selling on Ebay for over five years and I just received an email congratulating me for becoming an Ebay power seller! Maybe not the biggest deal to everyone else but I'm pretty proud of this.

Ebay says that you get a certificate. I'm not sure if you have to print it or if it's sent to you through the mail.

If I have to print it, does anybody know where I would get it?

Congratulations jeffbez! It is an accomplishment and you should be proud of receiving your Power Seller status.

Unfortunately, as you will see if you read the thread posted by tobyshitzu you will find that eBay barely notices.:| But this is a great discussion board and the best part of being a PS. Welcome!!:-)

Don't hold your breath on the certificate thingy...I've been a PS for years and I've never received one.

Hello !!! Good day to all !!! Pls. correct me if am wrong. The powerseller certificate applies to gold level powersellers. That means you have at least sold a minimum $10,000 dollars worth of stuff per month for at least 3 months. I called the ebay powerseller team about this. The level bronze states that you sold at least $1000. The next level is silver - $3000. I was just disappointed as you are. The main thing here is you achieved the powerseller status and is quite an accomplishment. You can do it.

Thanks for all the kind words and I ended up finding that thread right after I posted this one. It's to bad about the certificate. It would have been nice. I know my sales may not compare at all to the "big shots" but I think we all deserve a little reconition for helping Ebay become what it is today.

You can read about my fun there, but in the end I got one, so no matter what they tell you, you can get a certificate, window sticker and a pre-printed thank you letter from Bill Cobb.

I'll bet that the other Power Seller bid on it just so eBay could not pull the listing. I don't think they can remove a listing that has a bid on it but I could be wrong.

I got mine a long time ago...it came right away after I first hit bronze...I framed it and put it next to my law degree that I bought online....:-)
