EBay uses credit cards as a rough and ready method of ascertaining that members are old enough to enter into legal contracts.
Credit cards are not available to children.
Most prepaid cards are not accepted by PP as an identifier.
Prepaid cards are really cash cards. You put the money in, and you can use it like cash no matter what your age. Of course the bank takes a percentage, so they are really a bad idea unless you want to buy on line and have such bad credit you can't get a credit card at any level of interest.
It takes a day or so for your bank to receive the PP deposit, for you to see it and to report the amount to PP. Let your seller know that you are in the middle of this process.
