Miriam - tonight I relisted 200 items and I can tell you that all items with the shipping calculator option once again showed up with incorrect weight amount. The most popular amount is 125LBS and 62.8LBS.

I have had to manually adjust over 100 listings which is extremely time consuming to say the least - not to mention unprofitable.

I never had problem with shipping calculator until today. All my weights were wrong and I had to manually fix it. Now I am not sure if that's only timing but that started just after I sign up to Auctivia...

Like so much else here at eBay- no one pays attention to the little details.
HOW LONG after the NEWEST round of changes will these 'helpful' suggestions be hanging around for all to see?

Isn't it about time to clean up this thread by eliminating it?

Every so often I look in on this, just to wonder why it's still here.
Bill Cobb isn't even with eBay anymore.
Doesn't anyone else find maintaining this thread about long gone employee's ideas, and now CHANGED changes- a bit much?

THIS THREAD IS PERMANENTLY LOCKED AT THE TOP OF THE DISCUSSION BOARD.
The information is dated, mostly useless, and just another example of eBay's total lack of attention to the details.
Far too many broken links, and direction to outdated information exist.
This THREAD should have been removed a LONG time ago !!!!!

My point is, as long as this thread remains- NO ONE AT EBAY CARES TO ADDRESS THE CURRENT ISSUES!

We all know this. How is repeated poking going to change that? There aren't even any pinks left to monitor or help. If you feel that strongly about it, why don't you send your complaint to customer service? At least someone from ebay might actually read that. Trying to get something done about out-dated information on the boards because of your posts (without getting booted off for breaking the rules) is an exercise in futility.

I agree with you. A thread can be ignored but the broken links and help instructions directing you to wrong/non-existant pages are a major pain.

How is poking at an irrelevant thread going to change or affect "the current issues"? Just relax and let this thread go. You're getting too worked up over this issue instead of doing something about the more important ones. At least you could start a new thread on the issue instead of poking at something better left for dead. 😉

Here we are, and it's now OCTOBER 2009. eBay in its infinite wisdom finally terminated the BLOG end of the site (Sept 2009). Yet, this garbage still remains here for all to see. Isn't it about time eBay cleaned up the OLD, and now mostly 100% useless tidbits of information and suggestions that are long past their prime?
