Used e-bay for 4 years - set up initially with a credit card.
when to pay for an item I bought and a screen came up on PayPal
saying my sending limit has been reached and now to continue
they want my bank account number (all the details) - I have
been a good customer always paying immediately - now I
cannot buy anything on e-bay unless I give PayPal my bank
account number. I just want to keep using my credit card
and nobody gets my bank account number.....
Has anybody had this happen to them. I just want to
continue - using the credit card - - without giving up info
on my bank account. This is like a blackmail....JUST US YOUR
BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER - OR YOU CANNOT USE E-BAY
- WE ONLY HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD --- (THAT IS NOT ENOUGH)
IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE - HAS ANYBODY REPORTED THIS
TO THEIR CORPORATE OFFICIALS - I NEED HELP
TO GET TO THEIR EXECUTIVES TO TALK TO THEM
- IT SEEMS THAT WHEN YOU INITIALLY SET UP YOUR
ACCOUNT PAYPAL SETS A SENDING LIMIT AMOUNT
(WHICH YOU are not aware of) and once you have reached it
under a credit card - - paid all your purchases with this card
- in good standing ) - eventually your will have this happen to you
where they will want your bank account number -
any thoughts

Hi heavencanwait.. did you never wonder about "view limits" on your overview page.
Has always been so. Credit card only accounts have a sending limit and once used, a bank account must be added to lift the limit and return to using the card.
There is no option and complaining will fall on deaf ears. Some who don't want their household account on PP have resorted to opening a low or no fee account just for PP.
Members can have 2 accounts..Personal and a Premium but a second must have different financial information.

PS.. For what its worth , I have had my regular checking account on PP for a decade (sellers must have to withdraw) with never an issue.
