Suspicious sellers?

Just curious what the consensus is about sellers that all have garbled names and all sell the same items with 0 feedback. Of course they look sketchy so it's safer not to bid, but can they be reported?

Their names could just be chinese or something, I dunno. But all with 0 feedback and selling the same 5 items? Examples:

They all started today/yesterday. So zero feedback is not a surprise. If they had feedback and started selling a few days ago that would be a big red flag.

The names do look like appropriate for Chinese to English user name conversions.

They all have the same follower. So this is a tight circle.

The listings I looked at are "honest" and say that they are not selling the original Japanese figure but a Chinese knockoff.

They could be 3 China-based dropshippers, or 3 people working at the same knock-off factory, or 3 people taking a class in how to sell on eBay.  Or one person trying something sneaky. Hard to tell from this distance.

In other words, a counterfeit.

Which is illegal. Not just on eBay, in the Real World.

It is possible that such a purchase could be seized by Canadian customs.

And no, you don't get your money back.

Counterfeiting is theft of intellectual property.

If you enjoy and admire the creators of the animes. support them by buying the items they approved and let them have an income from their work.

I'm not very familiar with anime figures, but like most of the SFF toys, they normally sell for $40-100 with quite a few selling well over $500.
A figure priced at a buck is obviously fake.
