This is not the first buyer email on this topic I've received lately:


Dear zarzuella,

HELLO, I COULD NOT CHECK ALL THE WAY OUT WITH THIS ITEM, YOU STATE A PERSON CAN PAY BY PERSONAL CHECK, BUT WHEN YOU BUY IT NOW, IT ONLY COMES UP WITH PAYPAL AND THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE TO CONTINUE. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO BUY THIS BOOK, I DO NOT HAVE PAYPAL SET UP YET. THANK YOU, CHERI

I have not changed any of my preferences, and I know of no reason why this should be happening. Any thoughts?

I don't understand how that is a problem. Just write them an email and give them a total. Get them to send the check. Cash it. Ship... I have done this several times.

There have been a bunch of threads on this topic in the past couple months, here is one of them:

It's still going on. When a buyer tries to check out, the whole thing is messed up. You used to be able to get from eBay to make a PayPal payment, but now you get an error. You have to log into PayPal and manually fill out the information, to make your payment. Also, as you said, sometimes not all the options show up. 😞
