I actually got mine too! That's a first (at least since "paypal damon" sent me a t-shirt a lotta years ago). I think I'll use it - I have several friends in Europe and the UK who are already on, and to be able to talk free appeals to me. There's no law says we have to advertise our ID!!

I got mine about 2 weeks ago...was the first thing I had ever gotten from ebay. I was so excited as I was opening it...I thought maybe it was something really neat. Then I looked at it and thought "what the heck am I supposed to do with this thing?"

I agree with gloriaguides...the last thing I would want to do is talk to my customers. I absolutely had no use for the darned thing.

But unlike javax.swing and ellingtons, I didn't chuck it. I listed it on ebay, and almost immediately, sold it. I sort of felt guilty...like I was re-gifting, but I saw how many other ebay sellers were selling theirs too, and I had to laugh.

Thanks ebay, for FINALLY giving us Canadian powersellers a free gift. But geez...did it have to be such a lousy gift? Well, at least I got $7 for it. 😉

I've been using it -- and I've already saved a lot more than $7 in long-distance charges with it! I have friends and family all over Canada and the US, and several friends in the UK - the ones in the UK have been on it for some time and were wondering why we're so backward. I think it's great, and it really is free!

Oh, and by the way, I have no intention of telling my customers I'm on it - I certainly agree that I don't want to talk to them. They won't find me unless they search on the right name or email, and I'm NOT using my eBay email address.
