Trying to obtain sales reports for jan to aug 2016 in my selling manager pro, reporting tab

eBay selling manager pro under the "reporting" tab says "no reports found" when I search for reports for the period of january to august 2016. I need to find these reports...

Are you in the Archived section of your Sales Reports? I see mine there. It's possible the things like Sales Reports are a Stores feature or feature of Seller Manager so you might have needed to be subscribed at the time to be looking for what you need to find, I'm not certain about that.....
