What Camera do you use?

So what digital camera do you use on ebay? I'm still using a Sony Mavica FD73 and FD75. I like them as the pictures are small (in kbytes) and the quaulity is still pretty good. I don't have to do anything with the pictures besides upload them. I have another camera but the pics are all around 100k which makes for some editting and resizing to get them down around 30kb.

I used to have the Sony Mavica (well, I still have it but don't use it.....boy, were they expensive back when I bought it.....over $1000)

I now use a Canon....A300 I think it's called. I love it!

I switched from the Sony CyberShot DSC-F505 to the Mavica FD97 because of the 10X optical and 20X digital zoom capability. I don't do a lot of photos for eBay but I do have a couple of clients that I do industrial photography for. The zoom capabilty was the determining factor. Another nice feature was the dual media capability although I don't use it very much anymore.

As those projects wind down I am seriously considering going back to one of the Sony models with the Carl Zeiss lens... the 505, 707 or 717... you can beat the optics on those lenses without getting into very high end cameras. A great feature is the ability of the camera body to swivel around the lens. The 707 and 717 are also capable of excellent quality shots in low-light conditions without flash.

Deltone, do your pics come out that size or are you editting them? I see they are around 13k.

Ryan, no, I don't do any editing. (I'm far too lazy for that! ;o)

I'm not much of a photographer either, as I have trouble getting the light right, and actually setting the items up, but I find this camera is very easy to use, and the price was right!!!

I'm using a Fuji Finepix 1400Z - 3x optical & 2x digital plus a macro setting which is great for taking pics of coins & tokens. My auction management program resizes them to about 10 - 15k but somehow manages to keep the quality. Works great for me!

We use a Canon A10 and an A40. Love them!

I use a Sony DSC-50. Great camera for close up photos of jewelry. Simple editing program and away I go.

A lot of options on it... macro, great zoom.

i used to use a camera (Olympus D-390 Cost about C$300.00 at Walmart), but now i do not use it because my pictures do not come out clear with it.... so i decided to buy a scanner works better for the things that i am selling.
