Hello,
I read that items are twice? as likely to sell if free shipping is included. What is your experience with offering free shipping versus calculated shipping?
Thanks kindly,
Kathy

The most important thing to know about Free Shipping is that it is not free shipping.
It really means that the cost of shipping is included in the asking price of the item.
Which is cheapest?
$5 item with $10 shipping?
$10 item with $5 shipping?
$15 item with Free Shipping?
Oddly, for the seller the last is the cheapest, since her FVF is calculated on the first domestic shipping charge. So if you are using free shipping for that 17x10x1 cm / 160 gm LetterPost item within Canada, you will not be charged FVF when it sells to Australia using Tracked Air Mail at $10. Useful.
And buyers love it. Not because they think they are getting something free, the average eBay buyer is brighter than that, but because there is less work involved in knowing what the final price will be.
I use Free Shipping on books that will ship by LetterPost/LightPacket. But anything over 500 grams and 2cm thick goes Calculated.
(I sell books, postage stamps, post cards, and dress patterns. Your Mileage May Differ.)

OT but
Your clothing items have the manufacturer's size which is frankly meaningless.
Add the actual measurements in the description.
My daughter normally wears and 8 to 10 but she recently lashed out on a pair of Lululemon yoga pants.
Size TWO fit her perfectly.
Measurements.
