Where is my item? NEED HELP!

Hi everyone,

I need your help today.

I bought an item and paid a month ago, but I haven't received it yet.  The seller doesn't update the transaction, so I can't see the mark that my item shipped. (I know sometimes sellers don't update any transactions.)

I sent a message to the seller last week when my item shipped.  And also I asked him the tracking number, but he doesn't respond me...

This is first time to have a problem on ebay, so I have no idea what should I do :(:(:(

Should I go to the ebay resolution center or Paypal resolution center?

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Re: Where is my item? NEED HELP!

Hi himezo.. Is it your June 23 item .  From US usually within a month. Perhaps let it go 'til Friday . With the seller not responding , open an item not received in the resolution center of your PP account. If seller does not refund in a couple of days , escalate the dispute to a claim.

Item arrives in the meantime close the dispute. Refunded and item arrives repay the seller. Do not close for any reason other than item's receipt as cannot be reopened.

Re: Where is my item? NEED HELP!

You don't need tracking or delivery numbers, you have PayPal buyer protection. Open the dispute no later than day 43. You will receive a full refund of your purchase price, including the shipping cost.

Follow the good advice above.

If there is a next time, when you contact the seller (always the first step) ask for the Delivery Confirmation number. Usually there isn't one, but mentioning it will often galvanize the seller because you sound like a sophisticated buyer who knows the process.

Smoke and mirrors.

Re: Where is my item? NEED HELP!

Hello 'himezo',

Either resolution center gives you the same thing.  You have 45 days to file a Not Received claim, - and you will want to do it no later than day 43, so why not wait a little longer to see if it shows up?

Tracking is expensive, - how much did you pay for shipping?  If the seller used cheap-o mail he will not have a number for you.  Moreover, cheap-o mail is often quite slow.  He may not respond because he may fear you are fishing to see if you can file a fraudulent claim.  Either way, he should have at least replied and told you when it was sent.

You have a low feedback score, and some people perceive that as a vulnerability.  There are sellers who will not send the item and then delay you with false promises until that day 45 has passed.  Don't let that happen.  Should you need to open an Item Not Received claim the following link will tell you all about it, - and do not close the dispute until you have either your item or your money back.  Once you close a claim you can never reopen it:
