Why Paypal Canada Post won't let me add insurance 4 international shipping?

I try to use Paypal Canada Post to ship and add insurance for shipping internationally express post. There is an option for "purchasing additional insurance". I always click "yes". But once I reach the final page, my package is always not fully insured (only insured for 100, which is included with express post). It seems no matter what I do, I just can not purchase insurance. What is going on? Anybody experienced the same problem before? What do I do?

geez, is this a copy and paste from a few months back from my posting??? savadoll-i had the exact same problem over and over again, must be a glitch, because you're right, it doesn't add it on, so all international express post items with insurance, i have to take right to the post office. its a little annoying, i forget whether or not i emailed paypal about this, but you may want to email/call them to alert them to this problem...good luck...

So you never figured out why Paypal is doing this? Geez, I will email Paypal about this but I doubt they will figure this out. Maybe Ebay can help? After all, Paypal belongs to Ebay, right? -Ryan 😞

i don't think there is insurance for international packages unless you use express

even if there is, it's horrible, i tried claiming an item that did not arrive, they told me i had to wait 6 weeks. waited then they told me the claim might take anotehr 6 weeks = total of 12 weeks

that's 3 months, for something that should have arrived in 2 weeks top !

Use EST thur canada post . I had this problem also But just used the est you can do insurance thur there .

I tried the EST thur Canada Post but still had one problem with a package shipping to Singapore. It kept showing up a message saying something has to be greater than 0 but smaller than 100? What happened?
