Why can't I ship to Canada when listing an item to sell?

I can only choose to ship to the USA when listing an item to sell despite that I am in Canada.  Any help would be greatly apppreciated.

Hi ..You have 4 listing offering shipping to canada only. Are you sure you were not logged onto ebay.com rather than .ca.

If you wished to add the US it is necessary to add a shipping cost when listing..Give buyers shipping details
