It is pretty common for new members to add the year to the name they chose, to make it their own. I know when I chose my eBay name I had to add my birth year to differentiate myself from others with similar names.
But scammers are, like most criminals, both lazy and dumb. So they often use names with strong similarities because it would be hard to think of something truly unique.
You can cancel any bid you like, for any reason you like.
You can go to Manage Bidders and Block entire countries and continents.
You can specify that you will only accept bids from members with active Paypal accounts.
If you are using Fixed Price Listings, you can also specify Immediate Payment.
The headphones you are selling are a high fraud item. (On both sides of the transaction, sorry). You do know that if you get a legitimate buyer, that you will not see his payment for 21 days, because PP will hold it against your good performance?
Frankly, I'd pull the auction and build my selling account with other less volatile products. When you have at least 10 Detailed Seller Ratings, offer the headphones again. You will get fewer scammers with a rep behind you.
