eBAY GLITCH??

Why am I seeing this with every single listing, be it a piece of jewelry to a vanity gold filigree ormolu piece, just before I'm about to list?

Attention Seller!

Please be aware that the United States Postal Service considers alcohol to be non-mailable under its Hazardous, Restricted and Perishable Mail document (Pub. 52).

422.11 Intoxicating Liquors

Intoxicating liquors having 0.5 percent or more alcoholic content are non-mailable.  This includes taxable liquors with 3.2% or less alcohol, as well as those obtained under a prescription or as a collector's item.  The prohibition of the mailing of intoxicating liquors is contained in federal law (18 U.S.C. 1716).

With this in mind, sellers may not offer USPS as a shipping option when listing alcohol on the site.  For more information on this policy, please see the following URL:

Nothing I sell is alcohol or tobacco related (which is the other one I see) or is this just an announcement? And, if it is, why has this been showing for weeks now?

Anyone else having this problem?

If you list using Turbolister  You will get warnings....

With books the warning is about he shipping cap on eBay.com... I list from ebay.ca

Turbolister will search through the listing for key words

such as "orders"  as this might relate to money orders.

If you list something with the words whiskey, wine or beer... you may get this notice...

If you know that no rules are being broken... then everything should be OK....

and if you really want to know why this is happening... Contact eBay....Call eBay....

Hi thebarterersdog,

Are you using a listing tool or are you just using the Sell Your Item form on the site? I'm curious to know if this is affecting other sellers...

Feel free to drop me an email with details so we can look into this further.

Thanks,

eBAY GLITCH??

Hi Kalvin:

Just the "sell your item" form from the site. I often will click on Sell Similar button too but from my own listings.

eBay GLITCH is now becoming a real JOKE!!

When I relisted the unsold items, after relisting them, I deleted them in my unsold inventory and one item kept coming back to my unsold item inventory every day, no matter how many times I deleted it over and over and over and it kept coming back over and over and over!

Hey, someone at eBay STOPPED playing around with those things and leave them alone!!  They were fine until whoever has nothing on their hands decided to play around and continue to screw things up.  Stop it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
