eBay Store

Maybe I don't get out much but I never noticed before that eBay has its own store. I created an account to buy a small item but when I went through checkout I didn't complete the purchase.

If I charged what they do for shipping and for additional items I would get dinged big time on my DSR for shipping charges. The same goes for their descriptions.

They've had the store for a while but don't get too excited about buying eBay kitch. They don't sell to or ship to anyone other than Americans!!! Trust me, MANY people have complained to them about it at eBay Live. Nothing's been done.

You can't even buy if you have a US address. You have to have a US eBay ID not just a US shipping address. It's a real P off.

I don't really want anything with the eBay logo on it but they had a cute little "star" key chain that I thought might be nice to purchase just because of my user name.

Wouldn't it be smarter for them to ask for your address or country first before letting you set up an account, browsing their store, making a purchase, getting all the way through checkout and then finding out that.....they won't sell to you?....?:|

But then again, we're talking about eBay....]:):-D

The people that eBay used to set up the store don't think there's another world outside the US borders. LOL I've complained about it every year I went to eBay Live. The first one I went to was San Jose in 95 I believe. Other Canadians heard me and chimed in. The people we all complained to said we weren't the first. ah well....

If you're talking about the feedback star keychain, email me I have a bunch of those I bought at the last convention. I had them in my store then pulled them.

The one that I saw had the eBay logo on one side and the power seller logo on the other. No big deal. I don't really need one.
