extra shipping cost

Can a seller invoice me additional shipping charges? When I bid on the item, I understood the shipping to be a certain amount as advertised. I received a message stating the item was shipped, but the seller stated the shipping was twice what was advertised and will be sending me an invoice. Is this allowed?

You're certainly under no obligation to pay it.  Don't forget, the seller won't be able to leave an unpaid item strike or negative feedback for you.

The seller would have to take the loss.

This has nothing to do with you as you completed the transaction as advertised.

I made a few mistakes, as a Newbie Seller, in regards to shipping costs.

I had to take the loss & learn from the mistakes I made.
