?? I keep getting these, and when i sign in, it doesnt tell me anything? Its a legit email as I check the account guard, but no information?
I got it too. I don't log in to links I get in email, but I logged in normally through the eBay site, and there's nothing out of the ordinary. I had though maybe I was upgraded to silver, but I guess not. 😞
Me Three, I got one too. I sent it to spoof@e-mail and asked them if it was legit or a spoof, well they wrote back and said it was legit. Well it sure looked like a spoof to me. I wrote back and said if I want to look at my power seller account, I will do so on my own, not click on some suspicious looking link. Your wasting your time sending me this to click on so please stop.
I got one in April, logged in and nothing. Then last week I got a notice from eBay that I have been demoted from Silver status to Bronze status and they referred to the April notice.
They are legitimate notices. eBay assumes that we will read all about maintaining our bronze, silver or gold status yet there were NO specifics telling us why we were be referred to the portal.
I was extremely upset as I requested that eBay not consider my March and April sales due to an extended vacation and period I would not be here to list and attend to any eBay sales.
Despite sending 5 emailed requests, eBay claimed they never received my emails and when I emailed them last week after being demoted to bronze, I have still not had any response from them.
I had been averaging over $7,500 per month in eBay sales since October until March, April and May where I purposely dropped down to about $2,500 per month believeing that eBay would allow me the time off as they do with everyone else.
Take those notices seriously and check your monthly/quarterly sales and FB % to ensure you are meeting and maintaining the minimums.
Its hard to maintain power seller levels, I somehow lucked into the bronze level, I wasnt even aware that I was close. Now my sales are down, I am listing the same amount as I always have. I typically have 15 auctions running at any one time, but instead of 12 out of 15 closing with a bid, I am averaging 5 out of 15 closing with a bid... I am expecting to be tossed out of the Power Sellers Club any day now, but not because I am not trying, its because of ... ???? I dont know why, but people are not buying like they used to.
I dont think it will make any difference if I am a power seller or not, I dont think that influences someone to say "Ohhh he is a power seller, I better buy buy buy" Someone will bid if they like the item and the Terms of Sale.

There is a social side to being a Power seller on these forums however whether you are a bronze or silver or gold or platinum makes no difference, all are treated the same here.
As far as Power Seller support, I NEVER received any response to the few time I requested assistance and as a Silver Power Seller, I anticipated something from eBay in the way of support however NOTHING.
Does it help you sell? I suppose if 2 sellers were selling the same item such for the same amount giving a buyer a choice and that buyer felt more secure purchasing from a Power Seller, it may have a bit of an influence but the bottom line comes down to price and quality of what you are selling on eBay.
As far as I am concerned, eBay Power Seller support does not exist!!!!
