Confusing GST on item in China

I see alot of ads with 10% gst will apply for an item that is in china. Who is collecting this gst..the chinese bizzness or who???

I'm guessing that this is a reference to Australian GST.

Can you give a link to a listing charging 10% GST for Canada?

There is no province or territory in Canada with 10% sales tax.

eBay does collect 10% GST for sales under $1000 being shipped to Australia (started earlier this year).
