Exchange/Return??

Purchased a T-shirt from the USA for $20 however it was undersized & didn't fit. Seller offered to exchange it so I agreed but just found out the return shipping is equal to the cost of the item. Am I on the hook for shipping whether I return it or exchange it?

Exchange/Return??

"it was undersized & didn't fit"

Compared to what?

Are the size specifications stated in the listing for each size?

Is so then yes, you are on the hook for the return costs and the new shipping as you are responsible for reading the sizing details.

Also, size specs are different for each supplier and country.

What was the listing number, if we can read the listing details you will get a more accurate reply.

Exchange/Return??

This is why it is important to put the measurements into the description as well as the manufacturer's size.

And why it is important not to buy garments that do not have the measurements in the description.

Do you have a Canada Post Solutions for Small Business account?

With that, in October 2024, you have a Free Tracked Packet USA shipment. It's a promotion.

Or you might be able to buy TP-USA at the eBay negotiated discount price.

The SfSB account is free, and you may be able to get one just by asking at the PO counter.

Or use this.

Generally, because of the cost of return shipping, and the possibility that the replacement being no better than the original, it is best to go for refunds rather than replacement.

Exchange/Return??

We agreed on a larger replacement but once they received the shirt, a refund was issued. If I had known they were going to do that I would have just kept it & gifted it to someone else. Ended up paying $ 20 for the shirt & $40 (2X$20) for shipping.

There was no size marked on the tag. They're sizing chart showed 22" chest.... I can fit into a 20"
