Important note: Try not to be too concerned (freak out) when you see duplicate or incorrect/weird scans. They happen as a matter of routine because of clerks/drivers/etc scanning parcels in a rush over the course of a day.

That "important note" is important.

This is more useful for sellers than buyers, who are famously protected by the MBG, but might help us explain what is really happening to our nervous or freaked out customers.

Basically what I was thinking too. Reason for posting. I do wish eBay had NOT removed the disclaimers related to customs delays. It's there, but majority of buyers go by eBay's estimate vs the possibility there is a valid reason for something being late. It's like a seller getting dinged when something is delayed because of a forest fire being on the route. Oye!!!

But even a few a few buyers were to check out they might not be soo quick to jump the gun when it comes to seeing "weird messages" in the tracking log.
