Everytime there is a change it takes getting use to. Personally, I'm not one for toooooo much change but hey.......go with the flow.....if it's logical. There are however some things new here that I don't understand so I think a forum with someone would be a good idea for a morning.

One thing I don't like is when replying this box pops up at the top and you can't see all the previous posts, because sometimes you're replying to more than one person or post.

I liked the fact on the old layout that you could see all of the most recent posted to threads on a single page.

I think a forum with someone would be a good idea for a morning.

I was told that there would be some kind of forum/webinar before the changes were implemented.  I was told I would be invited.

I guess they forgot because I never heard anything from anyone. 

Personally, I go by the philosophy that - if it ain't broke. don't fix it. 

Why were these changes necessary?

Were people complaining about the previous format?

I saw nothing wrong with it.

Is it just some department at eBay making work for themselves to justify their paychecks?

LiveWorld is no longer moderating the board so I think whoever is now came up with a program that works for them. (not sure, just guessing at this point)

One thing I don't like is it does not show the last poster on the home board listings. You have to look at the times to see if a thread has been posted to.

Some other things I do like.

We'll all get use to it I suppose, just like all the other many times it was changed before.

REALLY????  100% of all CANCELLED events will have low attendance! this meet and greet was CANCELLED long before anybody could gauge what the attendance WOULD be like!!

If you go to a CANCELLED meeting i would bet BIG money YOU would be the ONLY one to go!!

Maybe prior did not chose his words very carefully.

The webminar was cancelled by the staff at eBay.ca when they did not receive enough replies from members who had been invited to attend the webminar to justify their time and effort.

It is unfortunate but not unusual on eBay. Users love to complain about this and that.  However, when asked personally and directly to spend some time in open discussion on the subject,  many balk away.

It is much easier to criticize from a distance than trying to build something better.
