Do you have your Managed Payments account set up?
Without that, eBay has nowhere to transfer your money to.
EBay does Hold cleared payments for up to 30 days against customer satisfaction when the seller is new, occasional or has acted questionably.
Most Managed Payments are transferred to the seller's bank weekly, on Tuesdays, but the seller can choose daily or monthly transfers.
Some banks take longer to accept transfers than others, but I've never noticed a problem with the banks I deal with.
It may have something to do with the $1000+ sale, but while that's higher than most of your sales, it is not completely out of line with your norm.
I tried to get eBay to call me leaving a total 10 requests for eaby to call about my account.
...They did however cut me off from communicating with them.
Were you on the phone?
The phone reps don't work for eBay. They work for a subcontractor somewhere in Utah. They are poorly trained and often give partial or bad advice.
They are also allowed to hang up on abusive callers.
The social media accounts are manned by actual trained eBay employees, who have some authority to deal with your problems.
Facebook seems to work best.
